Saturday, April 21, 2012:

8:30 a.m., Breakfast hosted by Lake Erie Shores and Islands (2013 OWO Conference host).

9:15 a.m. – Past Presidents’ meeting.

10 a.m. – Business Meeting, members business card raffle (or other fund-raiser, all tentative).

11:30 a.m. – Lunch, sponsored by the Outdoors Writers of Ohio with presentation by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources’ director or other designee.

1 p.m. – Craft Improvement Seminar I , hosted by Tamron and conducted by company representative, John VanSteen-berg. Topics include selection and use of lenses in SLR – type digital cameras.

2:30 p.m. – Craft Improvement Seminar II Digital Point-and-Shoot Cameras for the Professional Dummy power point presentation. Speakers will include OWO’s Tom Cross and Paul Liikala.

6 p.m. – Informal pre-dinner get-together in Hospitality room.

6:30 p.m. – Dinner, Craft Improvement Awards, Record Fish Award presentation (if any), Installation of new officers, scholarship announcements, Spice Auction, general auction (tentative), presentation of the colors, announcement of photo contest. Hosted by Tamaron.

Spice Auction Reminder
Please remember to bring items to donate for the Spice Auction to be held Saturday evening. Proceeds will go to support the Dorothy Woodridge Memorial Scholarship Fund.

9:30 p.m. – Hospitality Room reopens.

“Spice” Activities for Saturday, April 21:

Gandpa’s Pottery – There is a small fee for the demonstration and you get a small piece of pottery to take home.
Quaker Heritage Center located at Wilmington College – there is no charge for this.
Shoppes at the Old Mill Antiques and Specialty Shops.
Tanger Outlet Mall also is close by at Ohio Route 35 and I-71.
